Finally TOra 1.1.5 has been released. Only a week and a half after
schedule, the time has not been wasted and I have a really good feeling
about this release and it seems really stable for me. If all goes well
the real 1.2.0 release will be released in about a week or two. One
change of this version is that the copyright is now owned by Underscore
AB instead of GlobeCom AB. Underscore AB is a company owned by me
exclusively and using this company I will start trying to seel TOra in
the windows version. GlobeCom has never really had any interest in TOra
(outside their core business), and now I have sole controll of where I
want to take the product.
Furthermore for users of the Windows version, the new register dialog
will greet you in this version and the new version allows you to use
this software any way you like for no longer than 30 days, or
indefinately if you are not using TOra in a commercial setting. However,
since you can't buy TOra yet I've included a licgen.exe file that you
can use to generate a license key for this version. This key will not
work for the real 1.2.0 release, but only for 1.1.5.
The official announcement for 1.1.5 is:
Improvements to UI responsiveness and content editor. Loads of bugfixe
Changed copyright owner and license exceptions (Can't compile using
for windows). Last release candidate for 1.2.0.
