Webware for Python

If I just wanted to do something simple with a PSP page that does not require
session management or even a session - what would be the simplest way to turn
off the session management or at least the cookie that the session object
tries to deliver?

A session is only created the first time you try to use a session. If you are looking at the PSP test pages, then they are using a session. This won't happen on your own pages unless you want it to.
