Have you ever used Firebug in Firefox before? It's a useful tool for debugging problems with web pages. It might be helpful in diagnosing your problem. The Voyager data is fetched separately from other results using an AJAX call, and when it fails, you end up with the unending "loading..." message and no obvious clue as to what went wrong. However, Firebug will let you look at the AJAX response, which often includes an error message that may give you some clues as to where your problem lies.
Here are the steps to diagnose the problem:
1.) Install Firebug -- http://getfirebug.com/
2.) Load your VuFind page.
3.) Open up the Firebug console (click the bug icon at the bottom right of the screen).
4.) Click the "Net" tab at the top, and then click the "XHR" option within that tab.
5.) Perform a search in VuFind. As the results load, you should see something like "GET AJAX?method=..." appear in the Firebug window.
6.) Click on the GET AJAX line in Firebug, then choose the Response tab -- you may see an error message here that will help you debug.
Hopefully this, in combination with Steve's suggestions, will help you get things running. Let us know if you still have trouble!

Subject: [VuFind-General] call number and location not loading
We're a Voyager library and we've managed to import all of our physical items using Roy Zimmer's VuFind Extract code available on El Commons. However, our call numbers and locations are not appearing (VuFind states that the call number and location are loading). I'm pretty sure that this had to do with our Voyager.ini driver setup and/or the installation of our Oracle 11.2 client on our Fedora 12 virtual machine. Does anyone have a sample Voyager.ini file, which I can look at (excluding your institution-specific information)? We're also on the new Voyager 7 tomcat interface, but we also have our Pwebrecon.cgi interface running.
