We're working on a new version of the glut library -
it has some changes to it but we expect backward compatibility
with glut 3.6. I figure it'll be up on our site by this
Its multistate - context based, so it's thread safe, and has
a number of enhancements and improvements in the user
input area. (working key-up and key-down messages, complete
support for the keyboard, joystick support, etc..)
I've also, through testing our software, rewritten most
of Kilgard's (imho - crappy) code over time.
