why don't use Guido's FAQ Wizard (see http://www.python.org/cgi-
bin/faqw.py), which ist part of the python distribution (in
Tools/faqwiz).
It is highly configurable, simple to install and the entries are under
version control (RCS based). All in all I think it does match the
requirements of an cookbook very well (and is written in python:-).
