Well supposedly icefx will be in IceWM 1.0.7, it has a ton of bug fixes
and new features added- including a new command line interface
(the --help argument *wink*).
I can send you the patches if you absolutly want that now.
ESounD probably isn't started automatically, unless you have set it up to
do so otherwise.
You should get YIFF 2.12.2 from http://wolfpack.twu.net/YIFF/
(click on downloads). Make sure you follow the instructions and read the
online docs there. Remember YIFF is 100% documented both offline and
online (online's more detailed).
IceSound FX will support Y interface, see 'man icesound' after you
install the new IceFX for examples (typically
`icesound -i Y -s ~/.icewm/sounds').
