Well, firstly to just get it going, try removing all references to
wxCalendar from PaletteMapping.py. It's not even used yet.
This might not be enough as it seems it will fail for anything

I'm using version 2.1.16 myself so I doubt if it's a version problem.
Does the wxPython demo's wxCalendar work?
There has been some problems with the 2.1.16 installer (although
I doubt it is the case here) To be certain, check your Windows
system directory for wx21_15.dll and delete it, if wxPython moans,
uninstall 2.1.16 and reinstall.
No other ideas at this stage.
