Yes. A few months ago, I was trying to figure out why it was taking SO
long to display a list of about 50-60 folders. After a while of
debugging, I found that for every folder, it was making an IMAP call to
see how many unseen messages existed in that particular folder. This
slowed it WAY down. I removed it from all folders except INBOX to speed
it up. I would have fixed it right there, but there were other problems
that were more pressing at the time.
if someone would like to work on optimizing it so that that
functionality can be put back in, that would be awesome. if not, I will
probably get around to it eventually. :)
