Hi Alex,
Just a quick comment on the features listed below. It looks like there
is quite a few things to tweak here, which raises the question of
whether this degree of customization is really needed? The number of
options here is quite overwhelming and I'm pretty sure most people
won't even understand most of these settings. This is, of course, my
personal opinion and you might have a different idea. I would still
propose that we go through these options and choose the ones that
really make a difference and drop the rest. For instance, I find it
hard to see why we would need many different HOPO key detection
schemes, and choosing a single working HOPO scheme might also be
possible. Also, the POV options are unlikely to affect scoring, so it
might not need to be reflected in the charts. It might also make sense
to change the built-in defaults of the game for some settings instead
of introducing a configuration option.
