Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware

How are you creating the PDFs? Unless you're using a browser-based PDF 
print driver (which allows you to print to PDF), you'll need to make the 
pages visible to Anonymous (that's why you're getting the Login page).

Hi Rick,

I am using the webkit webhtmltopdf. Any Chance that this could be manually changed? Do you know how the PDF export works? I assumed contents (Pages) would be passed based on the current users permissions.

Hi again Rick,

I solved it using a workaround. As you said, I had to re-enable the
permission to view wiki pages for anonymous users. Then I activated group
homepages - a feature that we just decided that it would be useful for our
purposes. Now anonymous users simply see the group homepage for anonymouse
users which basically points them to the login. Not very nice with respect
to security but at least we hide the content from anonymous users and still
keep the PDF print option.

So thanks for the pointer in the right direction!

Hi mema,

you might think about preventing the site from beeing tracked by search
robots. Otherwise all your content will be findable in google and co.

Hey Torsten,

good point, thanks for hint! Luckily the webserver already provided a
robots.txt file. But I also stumbled upon the Metatags option in the admin
panel and set it to noindex and nofollow. Hope that's enough for protection.
