Blake,
I don't know if you've tried this but I'd try reflash with one of the recent
built OE images. Even if you intend to still use buildroot for
development, this would be a quick and easy way to make sure you don't just
have a corrupted image. It looks like you still have the factory installed
image at this point. I'm not sure if version 1578 has any known issues with
netwifi-sd. Anyway, the first thing I do is reflash my boards with known
good image. The factory installed images in the past were not necessary upto
snuff on supporting all expansion boards features, so I never bother trying
to debug with them :) !!
If that still givd you the same error than I would think is a busted
netwifi-sd card and you should get and RMA.
