Thanks David, moving the install lines earlier in my .emacs did the =
trick.
I loaded a .cpp file from a project I am interested in browsing (am in =
the
process of working out how to use ECB :-)) and tried the
"Senator->Analyse->Speedbar Class Browser" command and received the
following (copied from *Messages*):
