I haven't done anything about that except look at the Effect
menu items after installing your translated versions.
There isn't any proper translation mechanism for Nyquist
plug-ins, as you know. It needs work to set it up.
Steve, Edgar-rft and I came to the conclusion that translating
Nyquist plug-ins by directly editing the file would be very
dangerous. There would be a risk in case you translated some
function by mistake, and the translation may not work correctly
if there were Unicode characters in the translation.
* Is Basque entirely Latin characters?
* Have you tested each Nyquist plug-in to see that every
control still works as intended?
* Nyquist plug-ins are cross-platform, so if we made these
available they would also need to translate and work correctly
on Linux and Mac OS X. Have you tested on those platforms?
* You would need a text file to explain that you have
not translated Hard Limiter and SC4.
I'll ask Steve what he thinks. Does anyone else have a view?
