Italic dates are those that are actually from a related event. For
example, if a birth date is italicized, then it comes from something
like a baptism from that person. An italicized death date might come
from a burial.

FYI, bold dates are invalid (and the format can be changed in preferences).

Baptism/Burial date & place rather than birth/death date & place.
