It startsup and so on; the only thing that gets my attention is:
WARNING 23:09:42 loadpixmap.c:228 load_pixmap_as_pixmap() - Error
loading pixmap file: ef.xpm

/usr/share/xqf/qstat.cfg line 215: Unknown server type "preys"

Where is ef.xpm? I guess the second error is about an old qstat?

I do not see those errors. Did you use the rpms, the installer or
did you use the source to build it yourself?

It's compiled into the binary.

Yes, you need qstat 2.11 which will be released at the same time as
xqf.

But it's compiled into the binary using some file in the source tree,
right?

The truth is that I had forgotten about a patch I added to Debian to not
compile them into the binaries, just read them from the filesystem. It
is attached.

Yes, src/xpm/stvef.xpm. I don't remember exactly why the file name
is different, I think there was some name confusion with qstat in
the early days. We can easily fix the symbol name.

Why would you want to do that in the first place?
There is no need for a patch btw, xqf tries the file system first
anyways. All icons are themeable, the compiled in ones are used as
fallback.
