Audacity is meant to be powerful and easy to use. This doesn't
necessarily mean it's obvious how to use it instantly - most programs
that try this get very hard to use regularly or for anything more
advanced. This is why we have the user manual and documentation
available on our website:

What specifically does this do that audacity doesn't? I can't run the
trial as it's windows-only.

Audacity isn't trying to tell you what to do with your recording, just
to provide the tools you need to manipulate it. It's a toolkit, not a
course on car mechanics.
Adding a wizard-based system would greatly restrict the sort of tasks
you can do with audacity, which would in turn undermine most of the user
and support base - what you want for transfering LPs is nothing like
what I want in a program that mainly masters multitrack audio for CDs,
and occasionally creates sound effect clips for live work.

This is mainly because a computer can't judge what "sounds right" -
almost all of the adjustments in audacity are there because different
tasks and different users need different settings. In the case of the
click removal, different recordings probably need different settings
depending on how bad the clicks are and what else in in the recording.

This already exists if you install LAME:
