Thanks for that. I did end up getting several Common Music examples going
after I figured out what was going on in the example script.
I've never used python before, and seeing all the work that's been done in
blue, and how its integrated, makes me want to dig in and learn. I like
lisp though for some reason, but perhaps its just what I know right now,
though its not much actually. I really do like Common Music. Can anyone
comment on how python compares, to the built in music functions in CM? Does
python offer the same?

xmacs,before copy in blue.
the best way, i think, is to use the Ben mc Allister
routine "print-stream".
look example : "external_commonMusic3.blue" in blue
directory.
