No, based on the debugging output you sent I'm still thinking that there
is a configuration on your system causing something like a ulimit for

Relocation doesn't help for this, because your system does not find
500MB of dynamic space at all, not just because of the default address.

All I know is that Yaroslav reported that Visual Studio (a free
download, I'm told) has a tool to change something about the exe file
relating to the heap size, but I'm not sure what exactly it is this tool
does. See the archives or ask him directly.
