Hi again!
Sorry, but I have more newb questions... I am trying
to get an X environment (tinyx) running on the SONY
LCD screen that now works. (thanks everyone) However,
when I try making a new buildroot with:
+=nano
+=pxaregs
+=tinyx
#and commenting out the other default stuff, the
resulting root image is about 4.0MB, which is too big
for our puny gumstix flash.
So I was wondering if it would be possible to stick
tinyX on the mmc card, and load it through an init
script. Any resources on how to work the mmc card
after booting the gumstix?
While we're on the subject, when I remove
TARGETS+=tinyx and "make", the resulting file image is
still 4.0MB, resulting in me doing a completely new
buildroot because I can't change the filesize (which
takes forever). Is there anything I should do when
removing programs from the makefile to combat this?
Thanks again! I'm trying to play around with the
gumstix as much as possible so that one day I would be
able to ANSWER questions instead of always asking! =p
Regards,
Ohm.
