Thats what it took. Strip of ~/.e & ~/.ecore along with fresh tree
download from cvs (sourceforge) this date. Rebuilt it all. eaps are back.
I must say this is a first for me after ~7 months of building e17 from
cvs @ least once a week. No cue what it was but whatever it was we
killed it. Thanks for help.
