I hit a wall when trying to compile ftgl () with
MinGW. This library (which renders text in
opengl-contexts) depends on freetype2 and opengl
(gl/glut). Its configure-script does some really
advanced testing if these packages are actually
installed, and they fail with mingw/msys. namely, it
can't figure out the installed version of freetype2 (I
used the gnuwin32 package), but that test can be
supressed by --disable-freetypetest . The other issue
is that it cannot find the GL libraries (it passes the
check for the include files).
It would be really great if someone could shed light
on this issue - I searched both the archive and
google, to no avail.
thank you in advance,
