The Windows smartd sends the messages to the event log by default (no -l
option). The event log can be remotely accessed.
There is no buildin support to send syslog datagrams in the current
smartd release, but I will add this in the future.
Using a generic tool to send event log messages to a remote syslogd may
help for your purpose.
An open source variant is NTsyslog, http://ntsyslog.sourceforge.net/
Using the Cygwin version of smartd may be an alternative.
