Earlier, there have been reports about issues w compiler versions, glibc
versions etc that have caused behaviour like this. Have you upgraded
anything else as well in the process (gcc or glibc)? The problem comes
from the way muse tries to deal with memory allocation and real-time
priorities, which is a template-based memory pool, that is supposed to
be real-time safe, but it seems to simply not work in some setups - the
incoming events are stored but magically disappear after that. The
problem you're describing sounds just like it. If you have another
gcc-version on the same machine, give it a try. There was a guy
investigating this issue a while ago who managed to get up and running
when building with another gcc-version - I think you'll be helped by
looking through the archive of the maillist and read his findings.
