Well, this certainly is looking better. I iserted the
line for AGP 2X and now X starts up when I run startx
or kdm.
Unfortunately, the second I try to run glxgears it
hardlocks once more. I noticed that I ran into a
permissions issue ran I ran glxgears: it only wants to
try to run when I su as root.
Anyway, here are two new log files -
