Just to refresh everybody's memory:
1. The -vfs patch switches from using our own C extension, the grampslib,
to using the newer gnome-python's capabilities. Any distro with
gnome-python 2.0.2 or newer will benefit from this patch, since
the whole gramps code becomes architecture independent (pure Python).
2. The -glade patch works around some toolbar issues currently relevant
to Debian. If things work for you without it, better not apply it :-)
For Debian, there's a possiblity that some of the issues will be fixed
and then we may dump this patch when it's no longer relevant.
3. The cumulative -vfs-glade patch is simply a sum of the two above.
Just to simplify the life for those who want to apply both.
