If I am not wrong I think you forgot to do=20
# make install
Be root to do that in the directory where your tar archive was uncompressed=
with the sudo command.
Then still as root try modprobe ipw2200, it should not issue any error=20
message. To be sure it is loaded, try insmod and look in the list if you=20
actually get ipw2200. Then have a look in your /var/log/messages to see=20
whether there are not any weird things going on.
