I know you have already gotten an answer to this, but I can't help trying to
educate you a little - please, please search elsewhere for answers to such
general LaTeX questions. A good starting point is
<http://www.miktex.org/search.html> which lets you search the TeX FAQ.

Or try the fancyhdr package. It has a pretty doc, which will explain
how to use it.

Thank you for educating me. Sometimes it is not so clear for a beginner
where LaTeX ends and MikTeX starts. After all, its about LaTeX...

However, if you can point me to a general LaTeX mailing list with good
activity I am willing to move to that one for not so MikTeXy questions.

Sure, my main point is that every one should search before asking and then
<http://www.miktex.org/search.html> is a good place to start.

The ultimate place for LaTeX is the newsgroup comp.text.tex - use a newsreader
or Google: <http://groups.google.com/groups?group=comp.text.tex>
