I am using Gramps 1.0.7-1mdk.i586.rpm with Mandrake 9.2,, Norman. Here is my
update-media for the contrib packages and for the updates packages. Run each
one in a terminal as root, Note that although they are wrapped in this
message, they must all be typed on one line with a word space after the name
"contrib" or "updates" in the first line (automatic wordwrapping in Konsole,
etc. is O.K.). This uses the mirror in Taiwan. On my dialup connection, the
contrib update takes about an hour.
# Addmedia for contrib.
trib/i586 with ../../i586/Mandrake/base/hdlist2.cz
# Addmedia for updates
urpmi.addmedia --update updates
l/updates/9.2/RPMS with ../base/hdlist.cz
Then when you have these installed, you can select the Gramps package in
RPMdrake, or run "urpmi" followed by the gramps RPM you have downloaded. All
the prerequisites should download automatically in the correct sequence. If
you have any further problems, do not hesitate to contact me off list.

The only sure thing about luck is that it will change.
