Not from the GUI. From the command line you can add the 'prefer_shortname'
suboption to output...
gpsbabel -i whatever -f whatever -o csv,prefer_shortnames -F whatever
to make it output waypoint instead description for csv.
Depending on the flexibility in your reader, you might find antoher
style that outputs shortnames naturally to be more useful. 'fugawi',
'gpsdrive', 'gpsman', 'mxf', 's_and_t', 'saplus', 'tabseb', and
'xmapwpt' all have superset of that information and output shortname
in addition to/instead of description.
Alternately you can creat your own style that outputs exactly what you want.
But you won't be able to do that from the GUI, either...
