First an apology. In my email yesterday I made a mistake in the URL from which I got the drivers; they were in
or even further down. There is a lot of other stuff in Drivers too. Or, if you want the ones that I am using, you could email me for a copy (about 150k when tarred and gzipped).
Now for the "but". It works, but not with another ethernet interface on the same subnet, even if inactive (e.g. after "ifconfig eth0 down"). Should I have expected that?
When I first bought my F5D7000uk I could not get it to run even under Windows. Belkin technical support suggested that I disable any other ethernet interface, uninstall any third-party firewall software, and change the channel on the WAP from 11 to 6 or 1; I did all that and it worked.
For it to work in Linux, I removed the module ne2k-pci, which my wired NIC needs, and all was well. However, at the moment I have both NICs (wired and wireless) up and running, but they are on different subnets. (Which is convenient, in that changing the IP address is a bit easier than removing and restoring modules.)
I hope somebody else finds this useful.
