Thanks, Brian.  I didn't respond much to your previous specfiles because I
was distracted by other PLplot issues.  But your donation of the Mandrake
9.2 spec file today is timely, and I hope within the next few days to review
what you have done.  Also, I may decide to adopt your ideas to update the
existing RH 7.3 rpm and check the results on the RH 7.3 system that is
available to me.

If I understand your spec file (regardless of whether I adopt its ideas for
mine), then I would be willing to release both my RH 7.3 rpms (built by me)
and Mandrake 9.2 rpms (built by you) at our SF site.  This would occur a day
or so after the official release of the 5.3.0 tarball since we need that
tarball to make the corresponding rpm's. Note, our previous non-RedHat rpms
at SF were all donated as well.

	Thanks. Let me know what you think. I'm happy to modify it
as long as it is consistent with Mandrake's RPM packaging policies.
I can send binary/source rpms for the SF site whenever you desire.

A minor point: following the pattern in the other rpm/*.spec files, the name
would be plplot_mandrake9.2.spec (with an extra period).  I guess you meant
that.
