Examples 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13 have been changed in style and 8, 11, and 13
in coding. All these examples produce the identical postscript results as
the corresponding C examples.
Examples 8 and 11 in particular are good tests of the new interface to
plsurf3d, plmesh, plmeshc, and plot3d.
Still on my immediate ToDo list: examples 9, and 15-18 with fairly extensive
fortran interface work (contouring, shaded plots, and strip chart recorder)
still required. Also, I still need to implement a single-precision version
of all the examples.
I judge example 19 (plmap and plmeridians) to require too much fortran
interface effort for now so I will leave it to someone else.
Same conclusion for examples 20 (plimage) and 21 (plgriddata) with the added
complication that the C API is fairly new and may not have settled down yet.
