Dear group,
I've installed Debian (woody) and upgraded XFree to 4.3.0 (backport for
Woody by Daniel Stone). Drivers in this package did not work properly
(no 3d accelleration) thus I upgraded DRI drivers from gatos
(http://gatos.sourceforge.net/dri-debug.php).
The problem is lowsy benchmark in glxgears (less than 150 frames).
According to glxinfo direct rendering is off, but according to
XFree86.log.0 DRI is on. I've no clue how to continue! Neither
http://gatos.sourceforge.net/dri-debug.php nor
http://dri.sourceforge.net/doc/DRIbeginner.html was very helpfull :(
My machine is IBM (A31p) laptop with FireGL7800. So please if you have
some ideas, I'd most thankfull.
