I was describing the difference between unix Emacs 20.x and unix Emacs
21.x. It either shows one or the other. My hypothesis which I cannot
test is that the Windows version of Emacs 21 which doesn't support
images may have a bug, or other feature I didn't expect which causes
ezimage to try and place an image, and make the text invisible even
though the image cannot be shown.
