I have examined the api/related pages information and have spent some time =
the plugins/perl/common/*.c files and I am still quite unclear about how to=
use the new perl plugin interface.=20
I see the signals stuff. Signals get fired when, for instance there is a si=
in of sign off event. Fine. How do I get "static" information, like which=20
"buddies" are logged on? In plugins/perl/common/BuddyList.c and=20
BuddyList_Buddy.c I see functions like find_buddy which look like they woul=
be useful, but I have not gotten the calling syntax right.
Also, how do you send a message to someone??? I see a useful file,=20
Conversation_IM.c which has likely looking calls, but I have no idea what t=
Please, does anyone have a piece of perl code that determines if a buddy is=
line and sends her a message.
Thanks so much.
