I have committed my version of an LDAP Auth Source into the tree.
It closely follows the auth_ldap module for Apache.
I have tested this with simple LDAP setup, but, it needs some testing of
the more complex attributes so if some of you out there have LDAP stuff you
can test against, I'd appreciate it.
It is very naive about failure. Any failure causes an auth failure, there are
no retries. I'm open to suggestions here, I don't think having heaps of
retries works all that well either (unless your LDAP server is crap?)
I'd also like to get ready to cut a new release. Can those of you in charge of
auth sources, make sure the Unenlightened Zopistas Guide is up to date?
