Yea, the POSIX/BSD implementation expects a 'const char *' - however,
Linux' glibc expects a 'char *'.
There are some more discrepancies in glibc, compared to POSIX/BSD
implementations, you can see while compiling GNUstep, eg. libiconv (on
BSD) specifies size_t iconv(iconv_t, const char**,...) however glibc's
iconv() again expects a 'char **'... :-P
