Audacity

Hello,
Does the Linux version of Audacity support VST Plug-in effects yet? If not,
is there an expected timeframe for when it will support VST Plug-ins?

No one is working on this right now, but if there are specific VST plugins for Linux that you would like to see supported then we can look into it.

For what it's worth, people are trying to come up with a VST to LADSPA=20 interface using wine, but I haven't heard how well it works yet much less= =20 tried to build it: http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-devel/2002/12/0268.html That post also makes reference to "vstlib" which I suppose would be a way= to=20 support VST directly if it actually works.=20 I'm not aware of any actual Linux VST plugins, just Windows and Mac.
