I didn't have time to test out the betas, but,
xsubpp is now just a frontend for ExtUtils::ParseXS,
and it has no -C++ option.
Is this a problem for the ExtUtils::ParseXS guy, yes.
Is it also a problem for you, maybe.
-C++ appears once in both
