there is no mmx opcode to go into mmx mode. its implicit on the first mmx
instruction.
there is an opcode to go out of mmx mode - and i believe i have them in all the
right spots.
not sure whats going on here - you're missing debugging info (ie no parameters
in backtrace calls)
