I started by learning how ecore, evas, and ebits worked. (By modifying
the elibs_examples that are out there somewhere). I wrote a little ebits
based mixer application and then an xmms control application. Then I
started looking through the e code and learning how it all worked.
So, i'd say that learning the ecore and evas api's are the place to
start.
Check out the SPLIT branch from cvs and start reading through the e
stuff there (its much less than what's in head, as the fm stuff has been
removed).
