Well, I was able to get the lirc_sir module to load,
but, unfortunately, no dice with lirc. The IR port is
on irq 11 and IO base at 0xffc0. The module won't
load if I have USB loaded since they share the same
interrupt. If I unload USB, lirc_sir loads, but does
not seem to work, at least not mode2. The problem I
think is that on Toshiba laptops with the toshiba PCI
bridge, all devices on the pci bus get the same IRQ.
I guess I'll try and seem if I can disable USB in the
bios, unfortunately, I don't think I can. It seems I
may be out of luck. Any suggestions?
