We're having a bit of a problem with GUSI under carbon where GUSI seems
to stall. That is, a request is made to get some data off the network
and the program seems to be waiting in GUSIBasics::GUSIHandleNextEvent.
If another request is made to get data off the network, then the first
request goes thru and the second (so it's out of GUSIHandleNextEvent).
This has me a little confused (not being much of a network programmer)
so since GUSI is being used just for its sockets implementation, I
thought that simply stubbing out GUSIHandleNextEvent might be a
possible short term solution.
What do you think? Any suggestions?
Also, is there an 'official' carbonized version of GUSI. I bit the
bullet and carbonized the code (which could be why I'm having the
problems...) And what about CW 8 support. I know some of the headers
that GUSI uses have been deprecated, is there a plan to bring GUSI up
to CW 8?
Thanks for your time
