Well, another concern for me is that they're also promoting (and using,
IIRC) proprietary software.

It has mailing lists, bug trackers, web hosting, support for several
VCS, etc. (all of which are ad-free). Did you have any particular
feature in mind?

I guess the source code repository, web pages, and mailing list archives
could be retrieved and moved.
Just to be clear, though: I was not advocating moving the whole CEDET
project to Savannah (I'd like it, but it's time-consuming and I'm not
volunteering to do it anyway ;-)), just the mailing list.
