The "Help us Translate!" page on the Tux Paint website can show you the
list of PO files for TP and TP stamps, sorted in various ways:
How recently was it updated by a translator?
(Based on the PO-Revision-Date in the PO file)
How much of it is (percentage) translated? (vs. fuzzy or untranslated)
A lot of Tux Paint translations are under 75% complete (many in the 30-60% range).
Around 60 locales haven't been updated in a year or more (many since 2004-2006).
A lot of Tux Paint Stamps translations are under 50% complete.
Over 30 locales for stamps are a year or more old. (Nearly 10 locales that
Tux Paint support are completely untranslated, in terms of Stamps.)
So... if you've got time, please check up on your POs. The files shown on
that page are in-synch with what's in CVS, and should contain all 'msgstr'
found in the POT, so all you should need to do is download the PO, update it,
and email it to me. (Off-list)
Or, if you have CVS, you can just pull from CVS. If you have write-access
to CVS, you can commit it back. Otherwise, email the updated PO to me.
If you don't have CVS write access and would like to have it, contact me
(again, off-list) with your SourceForge.net username.
(This page explains a bit about CVS:
If you're translating the Stamps, and don't know what a particular description
means, based on the original English description, you can browse the collection
of Stamps (synched with CVS... so potentially more up-to-date than the latest
official release) online here:
Thanks in advance! And if you need help, feel free to post your question or
problem here. Suggestions and comments on how to improve all this are
(And yes, I'd like to look into Pootle, when I get time. And yes, I'd like
to convert the website to use PO files, too... again, when I can find the
time :^) )
