Can you put your patch somewhere so that we can look at it, see what you
had to do, and be available for others? You could post a bug report and
attach it there.
PS - FYI, just in case you don't use svn and diff, you can make the
svn diff > Bsddb.patch
or, if you have other changes in other files:
