I have been using preedit2 since you first sent it, and I much prefer
its behaviour to preedit. However, I don't use it that often.
Eranga, from the Language Technology Research Lab, has been using
preedit2 now for about a week, and he is happy with it.
Anura, from ICTA, has also used it briefly on my system and is quite
impressed by the behaviour relative to other Wijesekera input methods
available on all platforms.
