My wife just showed me a crazy little email problem. When she tries to
forward certain messages, the compose window will have the Compose Address
Folders links at the top, and right below that will be a copy of the email
message. Then, below that will be your typical From: To: Cc: Bcc:
etc... I checked the HTML source and sure enough, compose.php is really
outputting the page like I see it. It's not just a tag missing or
something like that. I don't see this on every message and I this happens
regardless of compose in new window or not.
I'm not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but I just cvsup'd 5 minutes
ago and the problem is still there. This does happen with HTML messages,
specifically. I was able to make this behavior stop happening by
commenting this line out:
//$composeMessage = getAttachments($message,
$composeMessage, $passed_id, $entities, $imapConnection);
which is line 804 of compose.php.
So, I'm guessing we're dealing with attachments. Looking in mutt at the
I 1 <no description> [multipa/alternativ, 7bit,
I 2 ├─><no description> [text/plain,
7bit, us-ascii, 2.5K]
I 3 └─><no description> [text/html,
quoted, us-ascii, 4.6K]
And each of those has the message in it. The 2nd is the plaintext while
the 3rd is the HTML version. I'm betting that it's displaying both
versions? That's about as far as I can tell on this, though.
