Good idea and realistic to implement. I also think technorati is a good
searching candidate.

IMHO hardest thing to implement. I know some programs do it. Do you or
anybody else here know how reliable their algorithms are? I think its
easy on weblogs but it should work on typical news sites too. And only a
minority of them has usable formats on their headlines page.

I would like that too. But the problem is what GTK/GNOME blogging tools
are out there to interface? I know only the one which sits in your GNOME
panel...

Sounds tempting. Also shouldn't be hard. I'll have a look at the Straw
