I missed your first post, so I missed your dbg.
I have had problems, but, they were self induced. For example, if you have
a popb4smtp file defined, and you have the wrong format file, or a
non-existant file, ASSP will die when it attempts to parse that file. (In
fact, I spent a bunch of energy in that section of ASSP because of some
small errors in the code.) What I had, fortunately, was the code exiting at
